Research Scientist (Tropical Marine) — Marine Science Program.

To undertake marine research and monitoring on a range of tropical marine science projects, with a particular focus on marine protected areas and conservation biology.

Academic Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science, majoring in Marine Ecology. First Class Honours, James Cook University, Queensland.

• PhD research (final writing stages), investigating the mechanisms and processes underlying predation on newly settled coral reef fishes.
• Significance of chemical alarm cues to survival during the early post-settlement and juvenile period in coral reef fishes.
